ThomasHEATONHEARL (TOM) Shirley, Tracey, Sally and Families wish to thank all relatives, friends and neighbours for the love, support and kindness shown to Tom and ourselves during his last illness. We will always remember the warmth and consider- ation we received at this difficult time. Special thanks to the Doctors, District Nurses and Staff at Honley Surgery for their care and professionalism, Marc Baxter, our social worker, for his quick responses, the Kirklees Care Watch Team for their strength, sensitivity and humour and the Equipment Library Staff who provided amazing essentials for Tom's comfort, allowing us to nurse him at home with dignity, as he wished. Thanks to all those who attended the Funeral. You gave welcome support to us all, as did the letters, cards, beautiful flowers and generous donations received. Grateful thanks to Gill Herbert for her visit, kind words, patience and wonderful understanding of our needs in developing the Humanist Service. Finally thanks to our dear friend Gwen Schofield of Radcliffe Funeral Service for her excellent professionalism. It was a great relief to us that the organisation of Tom's Funeral was in such experienced hands.
